Oahu Visit
April 2012

After San Francisco we flew to Hawaii for a stay on the Island of Oahu followed by a 7 day cruise on the Pride of America. We stayed at the Waikiki Outrigger Hotel for two nights before joining the cruise ship. After the ship returned to Honolulu we stayed another three nights at the Hilton Hawaiian Village before returning to Vancouver and another week with Andrew, Kristie and Tessa in Duvall Washington.

While in Oahu we enjoyed our time on Waikiki Beach in the warm water and clean sand. Some of the highlights of the stay were the Arizona War Memorial, a tour of the city of Honolulu, the Polynesian Cultural Center, many visits to the ABC Stores, the restaurants and the shops along Waikiki Beach.

It would be very difficult for anyone who likes to complain about the weather to live in Hawaii. It is almost perfect every day.
