Newfie Scoff
We were delighted to get an invit for a scoff (meal) at Mary & Daves Newfie Diner. Genevieve phoned back to let them know we'll be dere d'rackly (right away) and to stay where your to till we comes where yer at (don't move, we're coming over).
As for the boil up, Dave informed us that "I brings'em home and Mary ooks'em".
The food was some shockin good (delicious) and ther was nuttin surer dan dat (absolutely, totally agreement). We ate until we were all blowed up like a sculpin (totally full) and we never got de heaves (various stomach complaints).
Lots of yarns were spun. We rolled at dat and just a'bout died (found the stories extremely funny).
