Camp Update #5

Had a quick trip to Digby today (November 4, 2006) to take down another load of siding. The basement studs are up. The contractor has the roof trusses, floor joists and the T&G siding on site ready to go for Monday. If the weather holds I anticipate that with a bit of luck the roof trusses may be in place by the end of next week. I also anticipate that the backfilling will be done next weekend.

The pace of construction is picking up. The slab has been poured, the forms for the knee wall are in and the final pour is scheduled for the afternoon of Oct 31. The contractor hopes to get started on the framing next Monday.

Halloween at the Burke's

We had a few surprises this Halloween. The Ski Bunnies (Dave and Mary MacDonald) accompanied by a friendly clown (Cathy Andrews) dropped by. Jonathan and Jessie were here for supper and Sandy and Bill Foster came by for a visit.
