Christmas 2007

We had a great Christmas with all of the usual festivities including lots of food, wonderful gifts and tasty meals with our many good friends. Al Vincent came from St John to stay with us during Christmas and New Years. Stephen also spent Xmas and the New Year at our house. Included are a few pictures from Christmas Day and Boxing Day at Jackie and Emerson’s. A big hit for Stephen was his Wii Game from Andrew and Kristie. I had a great deal of fun trying to figure out how to use it. One interesting feature is it’s capability to load and show slide show presentations. I loaded the unit up with over 400 pictures of Stephen’s Group Home activities from the past few years. It will be a real treat for everyone at the residence to see these on their TV.

Our dogs, Niko and Zack had lots of fun and excitement with their new squeak toys

Our Visit to Seattle
Part 2

We had a great trip and a few more of the pictures are posted here. One of our many trip highlights was a visit to the Railroad Museum in Snoqualmie Falls. They have a lot of old logging equipment. Unfortunately, most of it is in a bad state of repair and will require extensive renovation. Bob also got to a model train shop and a fly tying store.

Other highlights include a tour of downtown Seattle taking in Pike's Market, the first Statbucks outlet and a sampling of authentic Chinese Dim Sum.

In Belleveau, we enjoyed one of the nightly Christmas festivities that included a large number of drummers, Xmas carollers, free popcorn and candy, an artificial snowfall and a lazer light show. This is put on every evening to promote business and free parking is provided at all downtown parking lots. Unfortunately, we didn't get any photos of this wounderful Christmas event.
