Margaree Fishing Trip

During the weekend of May 23, 2009 I went on a fishing trip to the Margaree Valley for 3 days with Steve Forbes and his son Chris. It was a great weekend with lots fishing and ideal weather. As usual, Chris outfished us in all categories, including size and numbers. Our lines were wetted in many locations, including the Margaree River, Middle River, South West River, the O’Law Brook and Lakes as well as several small pools found along the roadside. In addition to the fishing, the meals that we prepared were first class. We stayed at the Blue Barn on Big Intervale Rd, NE Margaree. It is a refuburished barn and the interior has a very unique atmosphere.
