THE FIRST OF JULY WEEKEND

Ann, Steve and Chris Forbes along with Abby (their dog) spent the July 1st weekend with us at the Digby Camp. Niko and Zack enjoyed having their old friend; however, they failed to take advantage of Abby's swimming skills to pick up on a few new aquatic pointers.

We have windsurfers and kayaks at the camp. Ann tried both for the first time and did really well. Porters Lake still has a fish or two left and Chris used his fishing expertise to land lots of small mouth bass, perch and trout. Bob windsurfed for the first time since his surgery and was able to traverse the lake without any problems. Genevieve and Ann got their quota of exercise thought a number of hikes out to the main road.

Unfortunately the weather was not the best but this did not dampen the weekend enjoyment.
