Kejimkujik National Park Kayaking Trip

We spent September 7th to 10th on a Kayaking Trip to Kejimkujik National Park with our Club Ski 30 friends. It was our first wilderness camping trip using our new Kayaks. Kayaking is much different than canoeing as packing the equipment in (and on) these ‘beasts’ presents a major challenge. Fortunately, a few in the group were seasoned veterans and we able to take advantage of their expertise. The weather was great and we enjoyed good meals. During the four day trip we used Site 12 on Ritchie Island (located in the center of Kejimkujik Lake) as our base and the group paddled to several sites on the lake during the stay.
